The wheel selects a result at random before the animation starts. It then calculates the exact final rotation needed to land that result under the pointer. The displayed result always matches where the wheel visually stops.

How the team assignment works
All 30 teams are shuffled and then shared out between your participants as evenly as possible. Every team is used exactly once, no team is repeated, and participant totals never differ by more than one where the maths allows. If you enter more than 30 participants, the first 30 each receive one team and the tool clearly tells you who was left without one — it never invents extra teams.
