How the wheel works

How does the wheel pick a result?

The wheel selects a result at random before the animation starts. It then calculates the exact final rotation needed to land that result under the pointer. The displayed result always matches where the wheel visually stops.

Is every option equally likely?

Yes. Every option on the wheel has an equal chance of being selected. The wheel uses your browser's built-in random number generator with no weighting or bias.

Can I edit the options?

Yes. Add, remove, or edit any option using the text area on the right. Changes take effect on your next spin.

How to set your fantasy basketball draft order

  1. Enter every manager in your league, one name per line.
  2. Press Generate Draft Order for a random order.
  3. Check the snake draft preview to see how rounds one to three run.
  4. Use Regenerate if you want to draw again in front of the league.

Common uses

What a snake draft is

In a snake (or serpentine) draft the pick order reverses every round. If you draft tenth in round one, you draft first in round two, tenth again in round three, and so on. It balances out the advantage of an early first pick. This tool shows the first three rounds so your league can see exactly how the order plays out before draft night.

What this tool does not do

This is a draft order generator only. It has no player database, no rankings, no average draft position data and no projections, and it does not run your live draft. It sets a fair random order and shows the snake preview. It is not affiliated with the NBA or with any fantasy sports platform.

In a snake draft the pick order reverses each round, so the manager who picks last in round one picks first in round two. The preview shows the first three rounds so everyone can see how it works.

Is the order actually random?

Yes. The list is shuffled in your browser using a Fisher-Yates shuffle, so every manager has an equal chance of any draft position. Every manager appears exactly once.

Can I save or share the result?

Yes. You can copy the order as text, print it, or download it as a CSV file for a spreadsheet.

Does this include player rankings or projections?
