How to run a World Cup 2026 sweepstake
- Add participant names in the box above, one per line.
- Click Generate Sweepstake to randomly assign all 48 teams as evenly as possible.
- Copy, print, or download the results so everyone has a record.
- Agree the prize rules before the tournament starts so there are no disputes later.
How many teams does each person get?
All 48 teams are always shared out. How many each person gets depends on how many participants you have:
- 48 players = 1 team each
- 24 players = 2 teams each
- 16 players = 3 teams each
- 12 players = 4 teams each
- Fewer players = more teams each; if it does not divide evenly, the extra teams are shared out randomly so the split stays as fair as possible (for example, 5 players get 10, 10, 10, 9 and 9 teams).
Office sweepstake prize ideas
- Winner takes all โ simplest option
- 70/20/10 split for winner, runner-up and third place
- A small prize for whoever drew the worst-performing team
- Keep it simple and agree the split in advance
Is it fair?
Yes. The 48 teams are shuffled randomly each time you generate, so the draw is impartial. Running it again on the same participant list will produce a different result, so decide in advance whether re-rolls are allowed โ most groups agree to accept the first generated draw to keep things fair.

How the wheel works
How does the wheel pick a result?
The wheel selects a result at random before the animation starts. It then calculates the exact final rotation needed to land that result under the pointer. The displayed result always matches where the wheel visually stops.
Is every option equally likely?
Yes. Every option on the wheel has an equal chance of being selected. The wheel uses your browser's built-in random number generator with no weighting or bias.
Can I edit the options?
Yes. Add, remove, or edit any option using the text area on the right. Changes take effect on your next spin.
